Downloading Listings: RE/Xplorer

From the Web site of your MLS, use your browser to search for listings.

1. When your browser displays the number of listings that match your search criteria, click the View tab.
   
   
2. Select the Standard Report radio button, then select the Flyer from the list of available formats.
   
   
3. If this is the first time you are downloading listings for use in PC Access Flyer, RE/Xplorer may prompt you to download the PC Access Flyer Converter for RE/Xplorer. Follow the instructions on your screen to download and install the PC Access Flyer Converter for RE/Xplorer. After you install the PC Access Flyer Converter for RE/Xplorer, close the window to return to your browser's search window.
   
   
4. From the View tab, click the Continue button.
   
   
5. If Netscape Navigator is your browser and this is the first time you are downloading listings for use in PC Access Flyer, Netscape may display the Unknown File Type window.

   ¨ On the Unknown File Type window, click the Pick App... button. Next, click the Browse button.

   ¨ From the Select Appropriate View window, navigate to your PC Access Flyer executable directory. If you installed PC Access Flyer in its default directory, navigate to: C:\Program Files\MFM\Flyer2. Select REXFLY.EXE and click the Open button.

   ¨ On the Warning window, select the Open it radio button and click OK.

6. If Microsoft Internet Explorer is your browser and this is the first time you are downloading listings for use in PC Access Flyer, Internet Explorer may display the Program Not Found window.

   ¨ On the Program Not Found window, click the Locate... button.

   ¨ From the list of directories, navigate to your PC Access Flyer executable directory. If you installed PC Access Flyer in its default directory, navigate to:

   C:\Program Files\MFM\Flyer2

   Click OK.

7. On the Flyer Translator window, click Yes to create a desktop shortcut to run Flyer.
   
   
8. Next, PC Access Flyer displays the RE/Xplorer Flyer Translator window. This window displays information about the listing file, photo files, and any database description files you are downloading.
   
   
9. When PC Access Flyer finishes downloading listings, it displays the Importing MLS Data... window.

After PC Access Flyer imports the listings, it displays the FC-1225 First Time Agent Setup confirmation message. Click Yes on this message to display the Agent Setup tab. For more information, see: Quick Start: Agent Setup.
